Support Rico's Road to Recovery

Rico is a resilient pup we recently saved from a local shelter where he faced the reality of euthanasia due to lack of space. While he has many health challenges, our team felt that Rico deserved a second chance at a happy, healthy life. As you can see, he has a head-tilt and is off-balance.

Rico underwent a thorough examination at one of our partner vet clinics, revealing he has heartworms. Extensive infectious disease tests have been pending, and we have just been notified that Rico has two rare tick-borne illnesses. Dr. Kirby is formulating a treatment plan for Rico. While we do have quite a journey ahead, Rico has a great chance of overcoming his head tilt and dizziness. Let's give a big thank you to Rico's foster dad, Mitchell!
